Have help DO NOT PULL OF ANY LABELSI attempted to put this bed together by myself, because, you know, I m a strong, independent woman who doesn t need help from anyone..... Wrong. There are so many pieces you definitely have to have an extra couple hands to get some of these pieces together correctly, easily square. Leave all boards labeled all hardware in it s labeled packaging and follow the directions it s really quite simple. I like that the bed came together quite easily with an extra couple hands - my 11 year old daughter helped me which was sufficient is very sturdy. While I was putting it together, I was cursing the bolts being way too long the pre drilled holes not being bigger, but of course that is so that the bolts actually go through the wood hold well. The bed is for my 10 year old son I was so grateful that I did not have to hear any squeaking or creaking or noise of any sort when he got in out of bed as I did with all of his previous beds all metal framed .
