This umbrella works as advertised and makes our patio usable in the afternoonWe have had this umbrella for more than a year bought in Apr 2018, it s July 2019 now . I was worried about how well the various positioning and tilting features would work and if they would affect durability. I m very happy to say the rotation and tilt mechanisms work very well, and this umbrella has been a huge improvement over our last one. A tree has to be cut down in our backyard, and the afternoon sun was unbearable in the summer. This umbrella pretty much solves that problem I still wish the tree were still there though .
