exactly what we neededWe have a deck with full southern exposure and it gets hot We debated putting up a sun sail but want to have something we can take down easily at night. We have two smaller umbrellas but even at full tilt they couldn t do half the job this thing does. The tilt makes all the difference, especially for late afternoon sun. It is also the optimum size to shade our seating area. Only drawback is the size of the base. We have ours off the deck. The footprint is quite large.
