Solid as a rock, commercial quality for sure. As others have stated the plastic sliders came damaged from shipping...here is how to fix that, DO NOT CONTACT AMAZON, they will ship you new stools, they are still in boxes outside my door because I am responsible for lugging these huge boxed to be dropped off at a UPS facility no prepaid pickup . Instead contact flash furniture, I did via email and has a response and 3 replacement sliders in the mail the next day, really happy to see such a responsive company these days
