WorksThe cars don t go into the garage, it s for everything else but cars. When the cars are parked outside and it rains, it s a case of getting wet going into and out of the cars in a heavy rain since you have to open the door to open the umbrella, or leave the door open to shut the umbrella. I decided that since the house has a balcony above the garage that it would be perfect to attach a waterproof shade sail to. I use this along with a rectangular shade sail and it s been a blessing. Now we don t get wet either going into or getting out of the car
