Reasonably Priced and ComfortableThis is our 2nd memory foam mattress set. We also have a Tempurpedic Rhapsody Elite They appear to have similar construction with air flow chambers within the center layers to allow air circulation and cooling. Our Rhapsody is 13.5 inch thick whereas this is a 12 inch mattress. The top layer on this mattress is significantly softer to the touch and appears to be slightly lower density foam in top layer. That being said it is very supportive and keeps my back in alignment and is comfortable in all sleeping positions. The Leggett Platt base is great. Love the adjustability. As a bonus the base comes with 2 leg sizes and additional casters allowing 3 height choices to set mattress height to personal preference. The set also included mounting hardware for a headboard. The only negative with the base is the control box containing backup batteries and I assume wireless electronics for the remote control didn t have any place to mount underneath the base. So it just lays on the floor attached by cables to the motor drives. The Tempurpedic is similar but is mounted under the bed. The two pieces are shipped separately the base through a shipping company in my case roadrunner and the mattress was shipped Fedex and came from California. The items were received about a week from ordering and arrived on 2 successive days. Fedex delivered to my door and the base arrived on a 200 lb skid delivered to my garage. I had ordered curb delivery not the extra in house setup . The mattress arrives vacuum packed in a rather surprisingly small but heavy box which puffs up quickly to full size. Overall the product appears to be well made and I really don t feel that either bed is better than the other but this one was less than 1 4 of the price
