Holds water, hard to assemble.They are a comfortable chair, look great, and seem well-made, but a few things prevent me from giving it 5 stars. It was A PAIN to put together. The instructions are illustration only and it is hard to distinguish important details. I ended up putting parts together 2-3 times by trial and error. My other complaint is that this holds water. I thought that they were more mesh allowing water to pass through, but that is not the case. After rain, I have to tip them up to get the water out.
