Easy to assemble. Back is pure plastic.Easy to assemble, shipped on time. Seat is cushioned, but back is plain plastic, no pillow . One pet peeve- it took us 10 seconds to figure out how to raise it and a couple of days how to lower it. I wish operating instructions were included with assembly booklet.
